WEBOn the serious accident side I would say that in my club we have like one serious accident of paragliding for one severe normal life accident (I think to that guy who was hit by a tram while cycling). On this relatively low statistic I would say +50% chance of dying, and + 100% chance of getting a severe accident.

I think most people go paragliding in interlaken. there are paragliding schools in engelberg (close to lucern) but they seem less often seeked out for. imho Interlaken is the most beautiful place in Switzerland (and beyond) for paragliding and skydiving.
