WEBJan 13, 2012 · The 20v MAX battery has virtually NO electronics in it, so the chances of it being damaged by being used in a tool that was not designed for is very high. In my mind there is absolutely no point in ruining a valuable battery, that is worth about as much as the string trimmer, when you can buy another B&D battery for $30-$50.

The truck was cherry condition,no rust never driven in the winter. Firemen saved my truck and said it happens often... even more when the battery is in the charger. Quote.

WEBPosted November 9, 2017. You can interchange them. People use the DeWalt batteries in their Milwaukee jackets all the time. Not sure if DeWalt has an 20v adapter for their jackets but Milwaukee does and you can use either M12 or M18 in the jackets so you don’t have to worry about using the M12 in the DeWalt jacket.

You know the difference- 3.0 is twice the run time, twice the charge time, twice the weight, along with an extra year if warranty. If light weight is more important to you, get 1.5, if run time/warranty are more important, get 3.0.
