This is a beautiful site….a large campus! The buildings are historic and well maintained! The visitors center was small but nice! Full review by cooker72
How much time should we set aside to visit the fort? We would like to experience all there is to see without being too rushed. Will we need a whole day, a couple hours, or?

You only need a few hours, even if you are taking your time and watching all the demonstrations.
I've heard there is a restaurant at the Grant House. Any other eating options on site at Ft. V?

On site is only the Grant House. However, 3 short blocks West, (past the roundabout) will open up a wide variety of restaurants, bistros and pubs that will suit just about any appetite!
