If you want to see "Beautiful Views" of the falls, you must visit this place. My family and I loved it. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Asheville, NC. Full review by K W

A pretty scenic drive in the fall. There was a helpful ranger in the visitors center. We found a quiet and pleasant picnic area. The Looking Glass Falls was very popular but worth a hike to see. Lots… Full review by Arthur G

The weather in late March in western NC is usually in the low to mid 60’s during the day and mid 40’s at night. But kind of like Georgia it has snowed on rare occasions when a cold front drops down from the north. If I plan a trip I monitor the weather report weeks ahead to make sure u come prepared for a cold snap.

I can't think of anyplace you can't take your fur babies in the forest. Well, maybe Sliding Rock but you really don't want them going down that. There are tons of great hiking trails your dogs will love. Start with the nature trail as soon as you enter (It's on the right hand side), especially if they aren't used to that type of environment. Also, they'll have maps and trail advice.

Like all other National Parks dogs are welcome ,but you also have the leash laws to were the dogs are on Leash or tie outs at all times. No dogs are allowed on the trails !
Hi! We are coming up in late October from flat, boring Florida. I'm looking for an easy-ish trail that offers great views. Any suggestions?

Best advice is first stop in at the ranger station for a map and advice on trails. Wife and I are 62 and from flat Michigan and hiked a few trails with success and fun.
