The 2024-25 NBA season isn't over quite yet. The Finals kicked off on Thursday, and the underdog Indiana Pacers managed to take a 1-0 lead. The series may have a long way to go, but teams other than Indiana and the Oklahoma City Thunder are already looking ahead to the looming offseason.

The rest of the NBA world took that to mean that the Jazz would be fielding a roster during the 2025-26 season that would not need to manipulate things in order to lose enough games for a high draft pick. In order to do that, the Jazz would need to make a few trades.

The Philadelphia 76ers were rewarded with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft lottery after missing the playoffs for the first time since 2018. On paper, the 76ers had one of the best star trios in Joel Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey. However, injuries prevented the team from reaching its true potential in their first year together.
