Bareilly: A heartbreaking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district left three men dead after their car, misled by Google Maps, plunged off an incomplete bridge into the Ramganga River, police reported on Sunday.

Three men traveling from Gurugram to Bareilly died in a car accident. Their taxi fell off an incomplete bridge in Faridpur. They were using Google Maps. The navigation app led them to the unfinished bridge.

In May this year, a group of tourists from Telangana's Hyderabad narrowly escaped a major tragedy when their SUV drove into a flooded canal after they followed Google Maps.

Bareilly: Three people were killed when their car fell into the Ramganga River from an under-construction bridge here on Sunday, police said. The accident occurred around 10 am on the Khalpur-Dataganj road when the victims were travelling from Bareilly to Dataganj in the Badaun district,

Three friends lost their lives in the Bareilly car accident when their vehicle, misled by GPS, plunged off an under-construction bridge.

The bodies were transported to Faridpur using boats and sent for post-mortem examination. The deceased were identified as Kaushal Kumar from Mainpuri, Vivek Kumar from Farrukhabad, and Amit Kumar.

The victims, whose identities are yet to be confirmed, were travelling at high speed when their car fell into the river.
