The Storm announced Wednesday morning that former Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner has joined their ownership group. The 2014 Super Bowl champion, who has a Master’s in Business Administration from Howard University, is the first active NFL player to have equity in a WNBA team.

Wagner was a fixture in the Seattle community as an anchor of the Seahawks defense. Now he's a stakeholder in the city's WNBA franchise.
