Ohio State also does not have a 2026 quarterback committed at the moment. With five-star Tavien St. Clair in the 2025 class, and five-star Julian Sayin from the 2024 class, that would make three out of four years for the Buckeyes that they’ve brought in a five-star quarterback commit.

Brady Edmunds grew up an Ohio State fan, it runs deep in his family, so that combined with the Buckeyes’ excellence on offense drove him to an early commitment. The 2027 four-star quarterback from Huntington Beach, Calif., was back in Columbus for a multi-day visit that culminated on Monday and he didn’t leave campus without pledging to Ohio State.
