The Trump transition team and the FBI said on Wednesday that several of President-elect Donald Trump's nominees and appointees were targeted with bomb threats and swatting incidents on Wednesday.

Several appointees and nominees picked to be a part of President-elect Trump’s upcoming administration were targeted with threats this week, just days ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Trump’s transition team said that “several” of the president-elect’s picks faced “threats to their lives.” Such “swatting” incidents have proven difficult to stop.
