A person was shot and wounded in the emergency room at NorthShore Evanston Hospital Thursday evening. Evanston police confirmed a shooting inside the ER at the hospital, at 2650 Ridge Ave. in the north suburb. One person was struck by gunfire, and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
