CHERAW, Colo. (KKTV) - Thursday night, law enforcement recommended charges including first-degree murder, kidnapping and burglary for a woman accused of shooting a 7-year-old’s father and taking off with the child. On Monday at 3:51 p.m., the CBI said a 7-year-old boy was found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Monday afternoon in Colorado.

Crystal Denmon remained in custody on a $500,000 cash-only bond on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, menacing, false imprisonment, protection order violation and first-degree kidnapping.

The Lakewood Police Department shared details of the alleged kidnapping of a child on Monday, Nov. 25. According to the Lakewood Police Department, on Monday at around 6 a.m. officers were called to a home in the 1700 block of Kendall Street in Lakewood about a suspicious incident.

CHERAW, Colo. ( KKTV /Gray News) - An Amber Alert was issued Monday afternoon in Colorado for a 7-year-old boy. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued the alert at about 1:40 p.m. for 7-year-old Uriah Saye Jr. Authorities believe Uriah may be with the suspect, 26-year-old Crystal Denmon.

The suspect was last seen in southeastern Colorado. Police say the suspect should be considered "armed and dangerous" and are telling people to call 911 if they see that suspect or the 7-year-old boy.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) issued an Amber Alert for a 7-year-old boy who was last seen on Monday, Nov. 25 at around noon. According to the CBI, Uriah Saye Jr, 7, is described as black,
