Elon Musk's Starlink has been asked to discontinue its service in Namibia following a cease-and-desist order by the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia.

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia said on Thursday it has issued a cease-and-desist order to Elon Musk's satellite internet provider Starlink for operating in the country without a license.

Namibia ordered Starlink Inc. to immediately cease all operations in the south-west African country, saying the satellite-internet service owned by billionaire Elon Musk is operating without the required telecommunications license.
