Indiana men’s basketball’s senior guards made perhaps the two biggest plays in the Hoosiers’ 77-76 overtime win over Ohio State (10-8, 2-5 Big Ten) in Columbus. Goode nailed a game-winning 3-pointer with just over one minute remaining, while Leal blocked Ohio State freshman guard John Mobley Jr.’s mid-range jumper with three seconds left.

For the second game in a row, Ohio State lost a close one. After losing a heartbreaker by two points to No. 15-ranked Oregon the Buckeyes hit the road for Wisconsin. The Badgers led by 17 at the half only to see OSU battle all the way back, but the Buckeyes couldn’t quite get over the hump and lost by two once again.

After four lead changes, Indiana forward Luke Goode capped off a career-night with the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:07 left on the clock in overtime to help his team escape with a 77-76 win. It was a much needed victory for a Hoosiers team (14-5; 5-3 Big Ten) that had been blown out in their previous two games.

After sixth-year center Oumar Ballo controlled the loose ball, he looked to one teammate — senior forward Luke Goode. As quickly as the pass arrived in Goode’s hands, it left them. He rose up from the right wing, releasing the orange ball into a backdrop of scarlet and gray.
