Matt Lubick, who left Kansas after the 2023 season to become offensive coordinator at Nevada, is returning to the Jayhawks as co-OC on Lance Leipold's staff.

Kansas has hired offensive coordinator Matt Lubick away from Nevada to help direct its offense. He is the latest move as coach Lance Leipold reshapes his staff following a 5-7 season that ended without a bowl berth.

Lubick was previously a senior analyst with the Jayhawks for two seasons (2022-23). Alongside former offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki and current OC Zebrowski, Lubick was credited with helping make the Jayhawks’ offense prolific in back-to-back bowl seasons.
