Department store chain Kohl's is downsizing and closing more than two dozen locations nationwide, but Michigan locations appear safe from the latest round of cuts. Kohl's is closing 27 stores and one of its 15 e-commerce fulfillment centers this spring,

Department store chain Kohl’s is closing 27 “underperforming” stores across the United States, including a Sacramento-area location. The closures, which include 10 California sites, will occur by April, Kohl’s announced in a Jan. 9 news release.

Kohl's announced it will shut down 10 California stores and its San Bernardino distribution center. Last month, the retailer said 27 total stores would close because they were "in underperforming locations."
