Hamlin enters Sunday's race as the defending Dover winner. He already has three victories — Martinsville, Darlington and Michigan — to his credit in 2025, and another win on Sunday would make him the winningest driver of the season so far. Hamlin led 136 laps at Dover a year ago, and is hoping to run that performance back on Sunday.

Following his ninth-place finish last weekend, Joey Logano is set to enter his 600th race in the NASCAR Cup Series at the Dover International Speedway this weekend. He will become only the 34th driver to hit that benchmark, alongside legends like Terry Labonte, Ricky Rudd, and Richard Petty.

NASCAR returns to Dover Motor Speedway for the lone race weekend at the 1-mile track this season, headlined by the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on July 20. The ARCA Menards Series runs the General Tire 150 on July 18, a one-day show with practice, qualifying and the race all on Friday.
