James Skoufis, an ambitious Orange County lawmaker who was just reelected to his fourth term as a state senator, has launched a long-shot bid to lead the national Democratic party. Skoufis, 37, of Cornwall,

"I've won on tough Trump turf three times. I've won when governors face red waves, all while bringing the democratic big tent together and never sacrificing our values," Skoufis said.
