The iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is getting ready to reopen next month after more than five years of closure.

Designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's vestments for Notre Dame cathedral's post-fire reopening blend a colorful pop-art aesthetic with medieval touches.

Visitors will be able to admire Viollet-le-Duc's restored spire, as well as the roofs of the nave and choir. Three themed tour routes will be offered, each enabling visitors to discover different facets of the cathedral, from religious heritage to works of art. Full guided tours and group access will be available from June 2025.

The Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, whose historic bells were silenced following 2019’s devastating fire, will soon echo again with fresh chimes. Although the Cathedral will reopen on 7 December, the process has been far from smooth.
