Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s latest comments about his quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, should give fans a small dose of reassurance in light of Mahomes’s ankle injury last Sunday. Mahomes suffered a mild high ankle sprain in Week 15’s win over the Cleveland Browns and noticeably limped off the field as he was replaced in the fourth quarter.

Patrick Mahomes was brought to the ground on a pass attempt and it appeared pretty brutal. Mahomes was tackled and then bent backwards on the second hit. He limped off the field after the play and got tape on his ankle.
