Live from London, it’s Saturday Night. Three and a half years after Deadline revealed Sky was remaking Saturday Night Live in the UK, the Comcast-owned network officially handed the series a greenlight.

It took 50 years, but "Saturday Night Live" is ready to invade the United Kingdom with "SNL UK" premiering in 2026 on Sky Max and NOW. Sky, which is owned by NBC parent company Comcast, announced the British iteration of the late night sketch comedy show on Thursday.
