More active weather is expected tomorrow with a weak disturbance approaching the region. Snow showers and flurries are possible in the morning, with another round of activity arriving for the evening hours.

Forecasts predict 1 to 1.5 inches of rain in the mountains, up to three-quarters of an inch in coastal and valley areas, and lighter amounts in the deserts, according to the National Weather Service.

Off and on valley rain and mountain snow will continue through the week. The most widespread rain and snow looks to move in Wednesday night and Thursday.

The lower elevations near and west of I-79 will see mainly rain showers. These may turn to snow showers before ending, but accumulations seem unlikely. High pressure will build in during the day on Saturday and clouds will break for sunshine.

More late season rainfall is headed toward San Diego this week, starting with some drizzle before another atmospheric river is expected to bring several days of wet, overcast conditions into the weekend.
