Hundreds of earthquakes that have rattled the Greek islands since last week have prompted the evacuation of thousands from the tourist hotspot of Santorini.

Hundreds of Santorini residents and tourists were seen boarding a ferries after dozens of tremors shook the Greek island.

Schools will remain closed on Monday, and people on the island are being instructed to drain swimming pools, avoid large gatherings inside buildings and stay away from abandoned buildings.
