PARÍS (AP) — Coco Gauff estuvo involucrada en un accidente automovilístico el martes, de camino a Roland Garros para el primer partido de la defensa de su título del Abierto de Francia. No parecía estar lesionada.

Coco Gauff unveiled a new colorway of her signature tennis shoes alongside a custom New Balance outfit while starting out her French Open title defense on Tuesday in Paris.

After a slow start, Coco Gauff, the defending champion, cruised past Taylor Townsend 6-4, 6-0. The American spoke about facing a friend and her comfort on clay. Coco Gauff will see the second round at Roland-Garros.
