There is a lot to unpack here, but it is worth noting that Billboard’s top 100 list did include Hank Williams Jr., who is a conservative and even attended the Alabama-Georgia game alongside Trump in September. So, it would seem unlikely that his political leanings would be forgiven while Aldean’s would be held against him.
