Spectrum announced to employees on Wednesday that it will close its Rochester call center on Bandel Road Northwest on Aug. 15, which could mean the end of an estimated 200 to 300 local jobs.
Rochester is the first city in the Northeast to receive the upgrade, Spectrum noted, joining Reno, Nevada, Rochester, Minnesota, Lexington, Kentucky and St. Louis, Missouri.
