A judge held a hearing Wednesday on whether or not to drop the federal corruption case against NYC Mayor Eric Adams.

Eric Adams’ City Hall, already embattled from his indictment last year on federal corruption charges, has now been plunged into an even deeper crisis that threatens to sink his mayoralty.

Eric Adams has united Democrats in New York City. From across the boroughs and otherwise warring ideological factions, there is widespread agreement that the mayor has little to no chance of winning the Democratic primary he’s running in for reelection this June — and that he shouldn’t even try.
