Franchise Group Inc., which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Nov. 3, says it will close all its American Freight furniture stores, including three in Jacksonville.

American Freight plans to close storefront locations, including in Houston, as its parent company, Franchise Group Inc., has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. American Freight has more than 300 locations, including stores in Cranston, Fairhaven and Fall River. The discount retail chain sells furniture sets, appliances and mattresses. Its parent company declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
