The Chicago Cubs and this fanbase aren't looking past this season. Now trailing the first-place Milwaukee Brewers by just 5.5 games with just over a month left

The Cubs aren’t scheduled to play a fellow National League Central team until the second month of the season. But they’ll face all four of their division rivals in May, hosting the Reds on May 4-7 and Brewers on May 18-20 and closing the month with a road trip to Pittsburgh (May 21-28) and St. Louis (May 29-31).

March 26 is not an ideal time to begin the MLB season. That means some cold weather teams will have six home games in March. Brrrr. And the Cubs are getting the worst of it, opening the season at Wrigley Field in the earliest-ever regular-season game there on March 26, part of a six-game homestand against two teams that only come to Wrigley once.
