The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) has insisted its red carpet is indeed red after it appeared in a bright shade of pink this year. It appears to have been caused by purple lighting hitting the carpet as the A-list celebrities descended upon London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday evening.
