The 2027 edition of the massive Lucasfilm fan convention will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the release of the original 'Star Wars.'

Heading into Star Wars Celebration 2025, I thought the weekend would be a little quieter than the last convention I attended – London 2023. That was jam-packed with exhilarating panels and reveal after reveal: the blowout Lucasfilm panel alone announced three new movies, and that happened within the first two hours of the event.

Star Wars Celebration 2027 will be held April 1-4, 2027 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Lucasfilm announced. The Star Wars Celebration was last held in Los Angeles two decades ago in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the original film.
