Stranger Things is suffering from review bombing after its latest Season 5 episode met with lower audience scores than the Netflix series has typically seen. But some fans are striking back with 5-star reviews in a bid to reverse the trend.
Noah Schnapp gave his emotional reaction to one of Will's most pivotal scenes in Stranger Things season 5, volume 2. Noah described the scene as “therapeutic and cathartic” and loved having the moment alongside his cast members. While reading the scene solo, Noah revealed that he cried and thanked the Duffer Brothers for including it in the show.

The Duffers' description of the feeling on set, wherein all cast members were supportive of Schnapp, is also felt in the scene. Even with few characters having substantial lines in that scene, it's obvious that Will is being embraced for who he is by his friends and family at that moment.
Schnapp specifically called out how supportive Stranger Things co-star Maya Hawke was on set the day Will's coming out scene was filmed, replicating their on-screen dynamic. Hawke plays Robin, another LGBTQ+ character on the show, who acts as a mentor to Will, particularly in terms of helping him accept himself.
