IPO-bound food tech major Swiggy expects Instamart, its quick commerce arm, to soon outpace its core food delivery business as demand for instant convenience grows in India’s cities.

This comes as Swiggy filed draft papers with Sebi for its ₹ 10,414 crore initial public offering (IPO). Economic Times reported citing people in the know that Amazon is interested in Instamart.

Swiggy Instamart’s standalone margin contribution to the parent company’s top line dropped to -4.6% in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q3 FY25) from -1.9% in the preceding quarter.
