Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne will reunite with his original bandmates this summer for his final live performance.

Excitement for Black Sabbath's reunion gig is spreading after tickets went on general sale. Fans who managed to secure tickets in the scramble were celebrating on Friday, while those less fortunate tried not to feel too "paranoid".

Easily the most insignificant piece of “music” ever committed to tape by Black Sabbath’s original foursome, “FX,” from 1972’s otherwise spectacular Vol. 4, offers nothing but muted, echoing sound effects, resembling some kind of meaningless S.O.S. dots and dashes. Scheduled for July 5 at Villa Park, the show will feature Osbourne playing a short solo set, followed by him joining Sabbath for what's described as his "final bow." There will also be performances by Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Mastodon.
