Three bodies have been recovered from a small plane crash off of the coast of Pacific Grove, California, according to local reports.

The plane took off from San Carlos Airport on Saturday night and crashed into the Pacific Ocean on the southwestern edge of Monterey Bay.

While the crews "have located some of the debris, the search is still ongoing," United States Coast Guard Petty Officer Ryan Graves told Newsweek.
