The Houston Cougars already made their first major coaching move in the Willie Fritz era. Fritz relieved first-year offensive coordinator Kevin Barbay of duties on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Barbay was hired on Fritz’s inaugural staff in January after serving as Mississippi State’s offensive coordinator in the 2023 season.
