The tennis world on Saturday was left stunned as the WADA reached an agreement with Jinnik Sinner regarding his doping incident. Sinner tested positive for a banned substance last year.

Tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz has given his thoughts on the doping ban of rival and current world number one Jannik Sinner in the lead-up to the ATP Qatar Open in Doha.

On Saturday, WADA confirmed Sinner had accepted a three-month period of ineligibility as part of a case resolution agreement, lasting from February 9 to May 4. As part of his ban, Sinner will only be able to "return to official training activity" from April 13.
