On the night of Nov. 21, Joshua’s body was found by West Chester Police in a pond near his home. Jessica Underwood was one of the many volunteers who went to search for Joshua.

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - The body of the missing 6-year-old boy in West Chester has been found. According to police, Joshua Al-Lateef's body was found in a nearby body of water by dive crews.

Joshua Altheef Jr., 7, has been missing from his home on Wyndtree Drive in West Chester Township since 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said Joshua likes water and parks.

Police said Joshua did make it inside the apartment after the school bus dropped him off. Anyone with information is urged to contact the West Chester Township Police Department at 513-777-2231.
