Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton paced both of Thursday night’s practices at the Las Vegas Grand Prix just two weeks after one of the worst races of his career.

Second practice goes green at 06:00 GMT. Lewis Hamilton led George Russell to a Mercedes one-two in first practice at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Hamilton headed Russell by 0.396 after they traded fastest times at the end of the session, having set the pace throughout the hour.

Lewis Hamilton set the pace in a cold FP2 for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the Mercedes driver taking thriving in the low grip to beat Lando Norris by 0.011s. The session was briefly paused for a red flag when Alex Albon’s Williams ground to a halt on the side of the track with a fuel system problem.
