Gatwick returns to normal after bomb squad called and people evacuated from terminal
TServices from the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport have returned to normal following a security incident at 10.50am this morning (Friday). Shortly before 5pm, Sussex Police issued an update saying that the bomb squad had been called and two people detained.
Police had also carried out a controlled explosion near the US embassy in south London. Read more at straitstimes.com.
