Irvin said he met with the Cowboys owner Jones on Friday night at the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight, and then spent Saturday with Sanders, who was coaching the Colorado Buffaloes to another win. Then, Irvin said, he spent Sunday "with the lord PRAYING for ???? ????? (GUESS WHAT)."

Michael Irvin seemed pretty confident that Deion Sanders would accept the Cowboys job if they drafted Shedeur.

With the Dallas Cowboys sitting at 3-7 heading into Week 12, it's starting to look like Mike McCarthy won't be returning for a sixth season with the team. That means the Cowboys could be in the market for a new coach come January.

Former Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin said if Dallas drafted this player then Deion Sanders would agree to coach the team.

While Michael Irvin previously said that he's heard Deion Sanders would coach the Cowboys if they drafted Shedeur Sanders, Jimmy Johnson doesn't see it happening.

Deion Sanders and Jimmy Johnson are both Dallas Cowboys legends, though their time with America's Team did not overlap. Johnson won two Super Bowls as Dallas' head coach from 1989-93, while Sanders won one during his five seasons with the franchise from 1995-99.
