Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has been fined $50,000 by the NBA for making an “inappropriate comment” to the officials during Game 3 of their second-round playoff series against Minnesota.

Despite the latest loss, the Golden State Warriors stayed competitive against a very physical Minnesota Timberwolves team. Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler had an impressive scoring night. Still, he took a moment to praise Jonathan Kuminga and even made a surprising confession about him.

One offshoot of the hamstring injury suffered by Warriors star Stephen Curry in Game 1 of the team's sereis vs. Minnesota has been the return to the rotation of much-maligned wing Jonathan Kuminga. After being all but cast out of the Warriors' rotation, Kuminga has had a resurgence, scoring 23 points in Game 4 after posting 30 in Game 3.

Jonathan Kuminga scored 30 points for the Warriors Saturday night against the Timberwolves and is 19-of-29 shooting over the last two games.

Kuminga has lit up the Wolves the last two games, providing the Warriors with some much-needed offensive juice while Steph Curry sits out with a hamstring injury. The 22-year-old has been so explosive that Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch compared him to Anthony Edwards.
