OKLAHOMA CITY — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points, and the Thunder beat the Nuggets, 112-105, on Tuesday night to go up 3-2 in their Western Conference semifinal series. Oklahoma City overcame a 44-point, 15-rebound night from Denver’s Nikola Jokic. The Thunder can clinch the series on Thursday in Denver.

The Nuggets are on the brink of elimination after a 12-point lead in the second half disappeared in Oklahoma City.

It’s Tuesday, May 13, and the Denver Nuggets (50-32) and Oklahoma City Thunder (68-14) are all set to square off from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. The Thunder leveled the series with a 92-87 win in game four. They outscored the Nuggets 29-18 in the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City had its back against the wall on Sunday afternoon, but managed to come away with a win after a solid showing down the stretch.
