Creator Liz Feldman returns to her 'Dead to Me' bag of tricks for the twist-filled story of a couple navigating grief, a failing marriage and the brutal challenges of the Los Angeles real estate market.

That’s the premise of Netflix’s No Good Deed, an eight-part series that is billed as a comedy and boasts the 1990s sitcom nostalgia combo of Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow. As it turns out, the show is more of an uneven hybrid of suburban whodunnit and semi-sincere relationship drama.

It features big sitcom stars including Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano but The Nightly’s culture editor Wenlei Ma says you should give No Good Deed a miss.

Per Netflix's official synopsis, No Good Deed, which begins streaming Dec. 12, follows Romano and Kudrow's characters Lydia and Paul as a married couple who "decide to move on from their empty nest to forge a new life," so they list their longtime home "and the real estate frenzy begins."
