Electric truck manufacturer Rivian Automotive is set to construct a $120m supplier park adjacent to its electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Normal, Illinois, US. This development aims to streamline material supply processes for Rivian's EV production.

The state is counting on Rivian’s $120 million investment in the project to attract global investment and create new jobs.

Construction on the 1.2 million-square-foot supplier park is underway and expected to be completed in 2026, in time for the launch of the much-anticipated Rivian R2.
