First discovered: 2:30 p.m. Aug. 3 A new wildfire was reported today at 2:30 p.m. in San Bernardino County, California. The wildfire has been burning on private land. There is no update on the containment progress of the fire and its cause has yet to be determined.

Multiple earthquakes rattled parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. An initial 3.0-magnitude quake struck the area near Rialto around 8:34 a.m. and was followed by a 2.8-magnitude quake and several aftershocks.
