It’s the regular-season finale for the bowl-bound Cougars, who are looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses on Saturday against Wyoming.

Washington State had its College Football Playoff hopes end two weeks ago after dropping a heartbreaker against New Mexico. Followed by last Saturday's loss against Oregon State, the Cougs come into this Saturday's game looking to end the regular season on a high note.

So in came redshirt freshman Kaden Anderson, who is more of a pocket passer. Anderson took the reins for the Cowboys’ next two games, a win over New Mexico and a loss to Colorado State — but in Wyoming’s loss to Boise State, he exited early with what turned out to be a concussion. That prompted Svoboda to step back in to the quarterback spot.

Losers of two straight, WSU will look to close the season strong with a game against a 2-9 Wyoming team that narrowly lost to Boise State, 17-13, last week.
