Publix issued the voluntary recall on May 9, but it wasn't added to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recall list until late Thursday.

Publix is recalling fruit and vegetable baby food because testing found elevated levels of lead. Publix recalled Greenwise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food, sold in 4-ounce plastic pouches.
