The Dallas Mavericks received important injury updates ahead of their Wednesday night game against the New York Knicks.

The Warriors have a special “Salute Captain Klay” ceremony planned for before tipoff to pay tribute to Thompson’s contributions to the franchise over 11 years. The team said: “Fans are encouraged to arrive early, by land or by sea, for a special pregame salute to the franchise legend.”

Klay Thompson and Daniel Gafford will both be out tonight after being listed as questionable earlier in the day. Gafford was a late add to the injury report with the same illness that seems to be spreading around the team,
