Mike McCarthy is no longer planning to coach this year, and Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has emerged as a lead candidate for the Saints job, the last remaining head coach vacancy in the NFL.

New prediction betting market Kalshi, similar to a sportsbook except bettors are not wagering against the house, projects Kellen Moore to be the Saints’ next head coach at 94 percent.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the former Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers headman removed himself from the New Orleans Saints head coaching race last night. McCarthy’s intentions will now be on the 2026 head coaching cycle.
