North Dakota State’s women’s basketball team earned a big win over South Dakota yesterday in Vermillion, taking down the Coyotes 72-53. The Bison were led by Abbie Draper, who dropped 29 points and hit 12-of-16 shots from the field. The senior forward also snatched a team high 12 rebounds.

After cutting its deficit to as little as six points in the third quarter, South Dakota women's basketball fell short in the fourth quarter against North Dakota State on Wednesday, losing 72-53. After hanging around for most of the game, the Coyotes were outscored 21-10 in the final frame.

North Dakota State senior Jacari White poured in a career-high 32 points to lead the Bison men’s basketball team to a dominant 103-77 win at South Dakota on Saturday afternoon. The Bison improved to 15-6 overall and 4-2 in The Summit League with their fourth straight win.

The Coyotes recovered well in the middle two quarters, keeping the NDSU lead at 10 at the half. Grace Larkins, who finished with 23 points on the night, scored on three straight possessions near the end of the half to keep the Coyotes within striking distance.
